Indiana State University Chapter
Remembering 9/11

On the 7th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the Indiana State University Chapter did their part to commemorate the devastating loss that America and the families and loved ones of the victims suffered. Working with the Indiana State Foundation and the Center for Public Service and Community Engagement, chapter members placed thousands of flags throughout Dede Plaza in from of Hulman Memorial Student Union on the campus of Indiana State University, each one representing a life lost during the attacks.

"Not since the horrific events of Pearl Harbor had our nation been struck and what better way to commemorate the nearly 3,000 American lives lost in our American Republic than to remember each individual, with each flag representing each person on that day."
Dustin M. Bryant, Indiana State University Chapter President
