The centerpiece for Sigma Alpha Lambda’s Spring Semester of Service each year is RELAY FOR LIFE - a night of celebration, remembrance and continued commitment to finding a cure for Cancer.   The American Cancer Society events take place nationwide, raising hundreds of millions of dollars for cancer research, education, advocacy and awareness.

 

SAL chapters across the country unite to play an important part in this annual event.  Whether it is sponsoring teams, helping set up for the event, working with the runners and walkers, organizing games, handing out water or working at a myriad of other tasks,  SAL members are always there to help in any way they can.

 

This year’s theme for SAL Chapters is SAL All Stars: Slugging Out Cancer!  Themed t-shirts are available from the National office for chapter members and friends who are participating in the event.  We are hoping that all of our chapters and each and every SAL member will join in the Relay for Life.  If you’re not already part of a team, contact your local chapter, or your chapter support representative.  Come out with your friends and family to experience a great time and help to raise money to Slug Out Cancer!
