Welcome to the University of Maryland Baltimore County Chapter
Sigma Alpha Lambda chapters serve as your way to get connected to local chapter opportunities and network with other members on your campus. In this section, you will find local chapter contact information and discover how to get involved in local activities.

Chapter Activities
> Adopted a Family for Christmas and had a Bake Sale to Raise Funds for it.
>Participated in a Canned Food Drive.
>Helped with a Thanksgiving Day Fundraiser, "Turkey Trot" that Raised Money for SOME - "So Others Might Eat".

Leadership Opportunities
The most engaging and active leadership roles are filling the role of a Chapter officer.  This is an opportunity to develop hands on experience in communication, project planning & execution, team building, and time management. Elections occur once per year, typically in early spring. Click here to read a brief description of each officer position.

Tassels, Honor Cords & Honor Stoles are available from the SAL Store.

Scholarships and Awards
Scholarships and Awards range from $250 to $5000 and are available for both undergraduate members as well as members furthering their academic endeavors through post-graduate study.  Applications are available February 1st of each year and are due to the Scholarship Committee by April 30th.
